Some people say that no one should judge anyone else; that only God has the right to judge people. I'm not anti-Christian, but I do think that this is a false reasoning. We start judging people the first minute we see them. We may not have the same thoughts on them from that time 'til the last time we see them, but we still do judge. If we don't judge, where would we be? I think we would still be in the dark about everything we know about the human psyche, social science, and, not to mention, love. When we judge we're not doing the person we're judging any harm as long as we don't pass on that judgement to anyone else. I'm not saying that gossiping is wrong, it isn't. When it is done in such a way that it might benefit that person it's alright. But if it's just to discuss their faults for no other reason than amusement, that's when it becomes heinous.

This might be just me, but I think that people who judge others simply as a game of condescending another person, people who live to put others down, are not humane. They are of another species when it comes to human relations. Life shouldn't be all about who you're better than. This world is not "survival of the fittest," as Shishio Makoto puts it. If you're strong, you should help others with your inner strength. If you're weak, you should strive to be the best that you can.

I hate to admit it, but there are people who are weaker than some. In a mental, physical and emotional manner. All of God's children are not created equal. Society has proven that. There are different classes of society. It's sad, but true. We should put aside our differences though. We should all put an effort to become a unity on a national and global level. Eliminate poverty, or at least reduce it by half. It is only when we see ourselves as a whole that we can conquer the evils of the world. We should create environmentally benign technological advances rather than ones that hinder and literally kill nature itself. It is only then will we truly be able to sustain a positive future for our children and their children and so on. There's a bigger picture than just who is better at what or who is better looking than who or who's breaking up or getting together with who. For we, humans, animals, plants, the planet, are one.
